The Ayurveda Lush Life Villa

This unique villa resort offers the traditional Sri Lankan form of Ayurvedic medical science to help you heal your body, mind, and spirit through an experience of relaxation, rejuvenation, natural therapies, yoga, and customized treatments for weight loss, headaches or chronic disorders.

The Villa features an 18 m by 11 m swimming pool (about 60 ft by 35 ft), 11 air-conditioned luxury rooms and more than one acre of gardens surrounding the main house, with fruit and shade trees throughout the gardens.

Eleven guest rooms are available in two locations: the main house contains 9 private rooms, each with air-conditioning, bathroom, sitting area, balcony or patio and view of the garden or pool area. The suite rooms are on the opposite side of the swimming pool and feature larger size and place for an extra bed for children or just for sitting and relaxing.

Lush Life VIlla is located in a small, typical Sri Lankan village called Meepawala, just 20 minutes away from Galle, the provincial capital and home of the World Heritage Site “Galle Fort”. The temperature is in the range of 27°C to 29°C throughout the year. Surrounded by tropical forests, flowers and fruit trees, the Lush Life Villa resort offers a peaceful, idyllic ambience and one-of-a-kind views onto the rice fields and nearby temples.

The Villa and its surroundings are designed with appreciation of nature’s beauty and respect for nature’s gifts to enable you to enjoy a natural and carefree retreat.

Chanting from the nearby temple floats above the village as evening approaches, helping you to find your inner peace and calmness. The paddy fields, fruit and nut trees and flower gardens are beautifully lit by the stars in the sky and the fireflies flitting about.

Lush Life Villa – Ayurveda Residence Doctor

Dr. Udaya Prasanga is one of the few MDs academically certified as an international Ayurvedic physician in Sri Lanka.

He graduated from Colombo University with a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Master’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. He is the ninth generation of a family providing traditional Ayurvedic cures, and the heir to the family recipes for treatments.

Dr. Udaya Prasanga specializes in treating chronic diseases, respiratory disorders and skin disorders.

After diagnosis, he prescribes a customized treatment for each guest including the selection of therapies and selection of herbs and oils according to your body nature. In the past few years, he has treated 5000 patients from Sweden and Germany.

Our treatment and results have been discussed with some of the world’s top western medicine physicians (neurologists, dermatologists, eye doctors, allergists and pain control specialists), who were invited to visit our villa to exchange information and study the scientific basis for the Ayurveda healing.

Lush Life Villa buildings and grounds were developed in harmony with local villager’s ideas of beauty, nature and attitude toward life, and is a product of their artistic vision, talents and hard work. In harmony with nature and supported by our community, you will always be greeted with love, respect and appreciation.

Take a walk in the evening and the village grandmothers will smile at you as they sit out on their front benches to gossip into the evenings and the children stop playing to watch you pass and hold their hands together in the traditional Sri Lankan greeting “Ayubowan”. Village shepherds and farmers still tend their sheep and cows.

In the mornings you are likely to be woken by the temple’s gentle morning chanting. You will appreciate the honest simplicity of it all and become an honorary villager.
