Handugoda House

Perched above the vibrant green paddy fields of Heenitigala Valley, Handugoda House has a truly awe-inspiring panorama. The house has been designed to fully appreciate this enchanting scene, either from the shaded dinning terrace, the alluring infinity pool or the comfort of your own bed. Located a few kilometres from the lively Unawatuna Beach and the Historic Galle Fort, this rarely glimpsed part of rural Sri Lanka is close enough to enjoy all the delights the southern coast has to offer.

The villa is made up of three en-suite double bedrooms, large central living space, kitchen, courtyard, and terrace with shaded dining pavilion. All three bedrooms have super comfy beds, fresh linen, overhead fans and air conditioning. The chic en-suites provide showers and bespoke wash basins made from antique dressing tables.

The villa is staffed to ensure you have everything you need exactly when you need it, our chef can conjure up delicious western and local delicacies. A Breakfast of fresh fruits, eggs, tea/coffee and toast is provided during your stay. There is also a Tuk Tuk on hand for exploration further afield this is available but as the cost of fuel is so high the tuk tuk is chargeable ,a return trip to Galle aprox RS 800 , a trip to the beach at Wijaya aprox RS 300 one way.Longer trips to other beaches should be by negotiation with Suresh or other member of staff.
